Far-left anti-Semitism
There is a growing issue with anti-Semitism and unconscious racism in the UK. There doesn't appear to be one solution to the issue, however, we would like to raise awareness of the issue as we believe that education and awareness of the situation is the first, and maybe the most important, step in the process.

Recently - National Buy a Book Day
7th September
Have you noticed that our lives today are mostly dominated by TV and movies. That’s not to say that watching certain TV shows or movies is a waste of time, there are many well-made, thought-provoking programmes to watch. Thanks to Kindle, carrying multiple books around at the same time has become infinitely easier and more practical. However, we believe it is a real shame that the the old-fashioned art of reading a regular paper book seems to be slowly fading from modern culture. Children especially seem to not be familiar with the traditional book, the scent of the paper and most importantly the ritual of settling down and reading the book. National Buy a Book Day was created for the purpose of reminding people how much joy simple black print on a white background can bring when it awakens your imagination and takes you far away.
We would suggest that this week you can indeed go out and buy a book to enjoy, however, to help support our environment, we would instead suggest that you could explore your local community and see if there is a charity shop, a book-exchange scheme or even a neighbour who would like to swap a book with you. You can of course explore new stories, but you don't necessarily need to buy a brand new item, you can re-use a book and help out the environment too.

There are many ways to help in the fight against cancer: you could donate to an associated charity, volunteer to help with a cancer care facility or even simply support someone who is dealing with the disease.

National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month
September
This month we would like to encourage you to simply take some time to think about the issue and possibly take an opportunity in your day to support someone in your life who is going through a tough time or that you think may simply need some extra support. This is, of course, a sensitive issue so, rather than us saying something about it, please find some helpful articles below on support for individuals in this situation.
