Celebrating 25 Years of Azesta! |
|
|
This June, we celebrated a major milestone—Azesta’s 25th anniversary! To mark the occasion, we treated our fantastic team to a night out at Aldborough Manor, where we rocked the evening away with a Queen tribute band. It was a night to remember and a perfect way to celebrate our journey so far.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to all our clients for your unwavering support over the years. You’ve been instrumental in our success, and we look forward to many more years of partnership and growth together. Wellbeing in the Workplace
Workplace wellbeing is more important than ever, especially as we navigate the post-pandemic landscape. Creating a supportive environment where employees feel valued and engaged is key to maintaining productivity and morale.
Here are a few tips to boost wellbeing in your workplace:
Encourage Open Communication: Create a culture where employees feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and concerns. This can lead to early identification of potential issues and a more cohesive team.
Promote Work-Life Balance: Offer flexible working arrangements and encourage employees to take breaks throughout the day. This helps reduce burnout and increases overall job satisfaction.
Invest in Mental Health Resources: Providing access to mental health support, whether through counselling services or workshops, can make a big difference in employee wellbeing.

UK Economic Update: Navigating Uncertainty
The UK’s economic climate remains challenging, with inflation and cost-of-living concerns still prevalent. However, one clear strategy for businesses looking to navigate these uncertain times is to invest in their people.

Trained employees are proven to be more productive, efficient, and loyal. By providing opportunities for professional development, organisations can reduce turnover, enhance employee satisfaction, and ultimately improve their bottom line. At Azesta, we specialise in delivering training that not only equips employees with the skills they need but also fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
The latest UK statistics on staff training and development underscore the significant impact that investment in employee growth can have on a business's bottom line. Here are some key findings:
Productivity Boost: Research from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) shows that companies that invest in staff training and development experience a 24% increase in productivity. Enhanced skills and knowledge directly contribute to more efficient work practices and higher output.
Employee Retention: A study by LinkedIn's Workforce Learning Report found that 94% of employees would stay longer at a company if it invested in their career development. High retention rates reduce recruitment and onboarding costs, which can be substantial for businesses.
Financial Performance: The UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) found that businesses that invest in training are 2.5 times more likely to experience higher productivity than those that don't. This translates into stronger financial performance, with companies reporting improved profit margins.
Innovation and Competitiveness: According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), firms that invest in employee training are 23% more likely to introduce new products or services. This innovation drives competitiveness and can lead to increased market share.
Return on Investment (ROI): A report by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) revealed that for every £1 spent on training, the average business can expect a £30 return in productivity gains. This ROI highlights the long-term financial benefits of developing staff capabilities.
Employee Engagement and Satisfaction: The CIPD’s Learning and Development survey shows that companies with strong training and development programmes have employees who are 50% more likely to be engaged and motivated. Higher engagement levels are linked to better performance and lower absenteeism, further benefiting the bottom line.
These statistics demonstrate that investing in staff training and development not only enhances employee skills and satisfaction but also contributes significantly to a business’s financial success.
