Martyn’s Law: What You Need to Know...

 

 

Martyn’s Law (Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill) continues to progress through Parliament. This legislation aims to enhance preparedness against terrorism, especially in public-facing organisations. It’s particularly relevant for those working in events, facilities management, or with safeguarding responsibilities.

🎓 Prevent in Education: Virtual Training Opportunities

The Department for Education is offering online training sessions through its Regional Prevent Education Coordinators (RPECs). These sessions are aimed at designated safeguarding leads, governors, and education professionals who want to better understand the Prevent duty.
