Penmann & Clauger in partnership at UK Dairy Industries Expo

We’re excited to announce that we’re partnering with French company Clauger to showcase their Rapid Cooling Cell plus other systems and solutions both companies have developed specifically for the Dairy Industry.

The inaugural Dairy Industries Expo takes place at the Harrogate Convention Centre on 3-5 October 2023. This is a dedicated event for the milk processing chain and we already service a number of high profile and key players in this market.   

If you rely on rapid cooling solutions for palletised products you will be able to view the viable alternative to blast chilling and see a live demonstration of the Cooling Cell on Stand M8.

Paul Dresser joins Penmann as HVACR Technical Manager

Paul has taken on a senior technical role within the business, bringing with him a lifetime of experience in ventilation and air conditioning. “Creating Solutions and Solving Problems – it’s what makes me tick”, he said as he hit the ground running on day 1. He is proving an invaluable support to the design and project teams. Paul has completed two Open University degrees: a BSc in Computing and Mathematical Science and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng).

Team Engagement programme - Building Better Bridges!

Now in its second year our Team Engagement programme features a monthly event – usually over a lunch hour. Opportunity to meet, eat cake, learn and come up with a solution to a challenge through teamwork. Judith our Office Manager organises and designs a calendar of diverse events. The last session saw 2 teams pitching against each other to build the most robust bridge from materials supplied! Hot competition to win with a focus on improving problem solving and group dynamics.

Our support of the people of Ukraine continues

John Kirwin was in action again just before Xmas driving to Belfast,  back to North Yorkshire, then onto Kent, collecting goods and donations of medical equipment for onward transportation to Ukraine. John has teamed up with John Midgley from Grassington who has personally purchased and sent over a front-line Ambulance, four 4x4 vehicles and a 7.5 tonne truck for the use of the emergency services. John Midgley has set up a find raising page to ensure future finance for his transport initiative Fast Aid Support & Transport (FAST).

John Kirwin is also working with and supporting the efforts of Kent based Valia McDonagh whose tireless work co-ordinating the Aid is nothing short of amazing.
