• I'm delighted to say that entries for the 2020 Serviced Apartment Awards are coming in thick and fast, and we are on course to have a record number.
The highlight of the industry calendar is going to be extra special in 2020, with a great new venue at The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington, and some exciting new categories.
These are Best Co-Living or Co-Working Development, in recognition of the increasing impact that these sectors are having on hospitality in general and serviced apartments in particular; and the Profit with Purpose award - open to any company in our industry (operator or supplier) which is embedding social and environmental values in its core business model.
As usual, the two people categories, Rising Star and Industry Inspiration, will be voted for by you, the SAN readers. Past winners of the latter include industry heavyweights Tom Walsh of Staycity, John Wagner of Cycas Hospitality, Charlie McCrow of The Apartment Service and George Westwell of Cheval Collection.
There is no cost to enter, and you can enter as many categories that are relevant to your company as you like. Compiling and entering your award is simple thanks to our state-of-the-art awards software platform - you don't need to do it all in one go - you can save and come back to your entries as many times as you like until you are ready to submit.
So why not tick one important job off your list before Christmas and get those entries in? To find out more about the awards and to book tickets for the black tie dinner and ceremony in London on March 12th, click here.
