• Life in the short-term rental industry is never dull: last week, IHM hosted its annual Recharge event in Barcelona and this Friday [31 January] sees the closing of the nominations deadline for our first Shortyz Awards!
Recharge took place over two days, starting off with a curated experiential urban expedition around Barcelona while the second day saw hospitality and real estate leaders gather at Bellucci Studios for a series of debates, focus group workshops and discussions arranged in creative formats.

This week is also your last chance to submit nominations for our inaugural Shortyz Awards boat party on 11 March as the deadline slams shut on Friday 31 January at 23.59 GMT.

The awards have seen huge interest from across the short-term rental industry, with entries being submitted across all 13 of our award categories. Well done to the likes of Sykes Holiday Cottages, Luxury Frontiers, Maxxton and Wil Slickers who recently submitted their full entries!
The judging panel is excited to start assessing all of the entries next week and we will be revealing the shortlists in full shortly after that in February!
