• After a long wait to attend an industry event since March's Shortyz and Serviced Apartment Awards, I'm very excited to be welcoming hospitality and real estate leaders to the in-person, inaugural Urban Living Festival [ULF] as scheduled on 25-26 November 2020 at Tobacco Dock in London.
Although the landscape of the sector has changed significantly in the space of a few months, ULF, organised by International Hospitality Media [IHM], promises to be an exciting, new type of event, themed across three stages - live, work and stay- where CEOs, speakers, attendees, sponsors and solution providers can collectively share best practice, network, map out the industry's future and do business.
After Prime Minister Boris Johnson's announcement that the UK events sector would be able to restart on 1 October, IHM CEO Piers Brown said: "Now, more than ever, it’s vital for the key players in hospitality and real estate to gather in order to forge new relationships, develop new concepts, and collaborate for the mutual benefit and strength of the industry."
ULF will shine a spotlight on various asset classes, including short-term rentals, hotels, serviced apartments, aparthotels, proptech, co-living, co-working, build-to-rent [BTR], student accommodation and more.
