EDITOR'S COMMENT

• We are super excited to kick-start our Urban Living Lite Series next week. Although current regulations in the UK prohibit large-scale events, we recognise and understand the value of meeting in-person and simply couldn't wait until July 7-8th 2021, our new dates for the Urban Living Festival, to see you all!

The smaller events of Urban Living Lite will be hosted across the best venues that are currently open for business in London. Our first, happening Tuesday 13th October, will place the spotlight on London as we take a look at how the city is faring and the effect this is having on businesses moving forward.

Sharing their thoughts and observations on the matter will be Roger Bootle, chairman of Capital Economics; Tony Matharu, co-founder of Central London Alliance; and Chris Felton, head of data and insight at DCDecaux, to name a few.

We'll also hear from Richard Burge, CEO of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who spoke with us last week about the short and long-term issues that London is currently facing, and what businesses can can do now to reactivate the city. The video, available to watch here, will offer a snapshot of what to expect at the first Urban Living Lite event. Click here to see what else we have planned for the new series over the next couple of months.

• The next webinar in the Boutique Hotel Trailblazer series will be taking place on Monday 19th October at 14:00 BST. In this one-off session, one city-based and one country-based hotelier will take centre stage to chat amongst themselves and discuss the challenges of opportunities of managing their properties.

The trailblazers joining me are:

• Christoph Hoffmann, CEO and partner, 25hours Hotel Company

• Danny Pecorelli, managing director, Exclusive Collection

Click here to register and be sure not to miss out.

Future topics include:
