EDITOR'S COMMENT

•  It was wonderful to finally get the Urban Living Festival under way last week. There was a palpable buzz at the event as industry colleagues reconnected, and enjoyed some fascinating content based around three stages - Stay, Live and Work.

The direction that we have taken with ULF was reinforced by a new white paper published by Lavanda, in partnership with Greystar, Aldar Properties and Hubble, which chimes with our way of thinking about how hospitality and real estate asset classes are converging.

The paper outlines how the changing way we work, live and travel is impacting demand for urban housing, and recommends how developers and operators of multifamily, coliving and purpose built student accommodation must adapt to better meet a permanent shift in demand. Find out more here.

• National Corporate Housing has become one of the most acquisitive companies in the agency and relo space, and it added another string to its bow this week with the purchase of UK-based The Relocation Consultancy. The way the company is going, a name change involving upgrading National to International could be on the cards.
