EDITOR'S COMMENT
• It's hard to believe that a year has already passed since our second Urban Living Festival but we're raring to go once again this week [5-6 July] for what is the region's only investment and leadership conference for urban innovators at the cutting edge of contemporary hospitality and real estate.
The event could hardly be taking place at more dynamic, unpredictable or transformative time for the urban living sector, when one considers that 55 per cent of the world's population currently resides in an urban area - a figure expected to reach 68 per cent by 2050. Moreover, 92.2 per cent of the UK population is anticipated to have lived in a city by 2030 and 85 per cent of investors are expecting to increase or maintain their portfolio allocation towards the ‘living’ sector’ over the next 10 years, according to Investec's Future of Living II report.
As one of our flagship events in the calendar, ULF is an event that the IHM team is immensely proud of, as we bring together urban innovators and investors to collectively share best practice, network, map the industry’s future and do business from right across the travel, hospitality and real estate landscape. Our agenda is curated specifically to deliver maximum value to attendees, from exclusive property tours on Day One to a day of engaging session formats on Day Two, including panels, breakout presentations and interactive workshops.
Tickets for the event, which is being held at East Wintergarden in Canary Wharf, London, are selling fast but remain on sale at this link. If you still haven't got your ticket yet, check out our six reasons why this year's ULF is not to be missed here.
