EDITOR'S COMMENT

• In just two weeks' time, we'll be welcoming attendees, sponsors, judges and supporting partners to Skyline London for the fifth annual Shortyz Awards. It was an exciting moment to announce the 2024 Shortyz Awards shortlists last week, with the largest number of companies / individuals ever shortlisted [134], and the breadth of entries and quality of submissions is encouraging for the future of this industry.

In our announcement video, we reflected on the five years of hosting the Shortyz so far, from starting on a boat in 2020 to recording on Zoom in 2021, and now having the privilege of bringing together the global short-term rental industry's brightest minds in one room ever since. The awards enable us to recognise excellence among our peers, highlight innovation, reward achievement and celebrate startup technology, and new startups, businesses and solutions emerge on the shortlists each year with their own unique value proposition.

Now that the judging period is complete and the 20 shortlists have been unveiled, it's your time to have your say on who should win a Shortyz Award in 2024 - all you have to do is cast your votes here by 1pm BST on Wednesday 10 April [one set of votes per person]. The overall winners will be determined by a 50:50 split between the judge scores and the public vote, and will be announced at our in-person awards ceremony on 23 April in London.

Tickets for the 'Oscars of the short-term rental industry' are now on sale and we can't wait for an incredible evening of celebration and recognition later this month. Make sure to book your tickets now here.

• Don't miss our next STRz webinar, which is in partnership with VacayMyWay this Thursday 11 April, as we explore 'When the revenue rubber meets the road: Finding ways to save in 2024'.
