A Cool Vendor & A Hot Newsletter

We think it's safe to say that, on top of the superb news and announcements we've mentioned this year, this edition of the newsletter is right up there! So, without further ado, let's catch up!

LISA is 'Cool'

We are absolutely thrilled and delighted that LISA has been included in the Artificial Intelligence for Small and Midsize Businesses report by Gartner, Inc. But what’s it all about?

On the summary section of the Gartner website (where the report can be found) it’s described as:

Business partnerships with AI vendors focusing on SMBs help accelerate technology and service provider market expansion. Technology product managers targeting SMBs can consider partnering with such vendors as they continue to expand their product designs, roadmap efforts and business sustainability.

Featuring in Gartner’s prestigious list is testament to our users, customers, clients, suppliers and partners and their belief in our vision, products and services. It’s also an accolade to the level of hard work and dedication that we and our CEO, Chrissie Lightfoot, are relentlessly doing to bridge the gap between the legal world and business world with LawTech.

Read our latest blog post for our reaction regarding the news and also, a press release, too.

Oh, Canada!

The good news just keeps on flowing in this newsletter as, you may have seen on our social media channels this month, that we have had the honour of being nominated by the Digital Finance Institute for the AI for Good award at the 4th Annual Canadian FinTech & Artificial Intelligence awards.

Over 4,000 of Canada’s top entrepreneurs from FinTech & the AI ecosystem will be in attendance to celebrate Canadian Innovation that touches the world.

The ceremony will be held in Toronto on 26th November, so be sure to follow us on our channels to find out how we got on.

It's back on!

If you read the September edition of the newsletter, we were deeply saddened that we had to cancel our trip to Asia due to the awful typhoon but, now, *drum roll please...*

We are delighted to confirm that LISA will be wrapping up an incredible 2018 by visiting Hong-Kong next month where our CEO will be presenting two ‘public’ dynamite speaking sessions on two consecutive days for members of the Law Society of Hong-Kong and holding a private roundtable gathering with the committee!

On the road again...already, 2019, really?

Already, we’re looking at getting 2019 off to a flier and with that, we have some news. We are pleased to announce that in March, LISA will be heading to Cape Town, South Africa, to help kick-start a legal innovation course called ‘Future of Law’. We can’t wait!

We’ll add more details leading up to the event in January 2019, so make sure you’ve subscribed to our newsletter here!

Flipping the pages...

Normally, we share what we’re reading that may be of interest to you (we still do, below), but we’re flipping this a wee bit and suggesting what you should be reading!

Extracts of our CEO’s book ‘Tomorrow’s Naked Lawyer: NewTech, NewHuman, NewLaw – How to be successful 2015 to 2045!’ and more, can be found in this 1007 page compilation tome (written in English and Portuguese), that features 32 leading authors on the subject of Law, Innovation and technology.
