2018 has been absolutely OUTSTANDING!

Can you believe it’s December?! It only felt like yesterday when we published our Summer newsletter.

This year has been one to remember with so many highlights, that we couldn’t pick one, so we picked 5!

Without further ado, here’s a Holiday Special!

The highest of highlights

To get this started, we’ve looked back at past newsletters across this year to pick and reminisce the stand-out highlights we’ve experienced.

LISA & Legal AI Leaders

What a way to get 2018 up and running!

In February, The National Law Journal released its inaugural list of Legal AI Leaders and LISA was included, alongside 49 chosen entrepreneurs and companies around the world, a distinction reserved for leading developers of innovative, artificial intelligence-driven products and services.

We were totally blown away by the surprise announcement and this was just the start.

Women of Legal Tech

As the weather began to warm things up, we definitely had a ‘Spring’ in our step as we received some great news.

The ABA (American Bar Association’s) Legal Technology Resource Center selected our CEO and Robot Lawyer LISA as one of only 25 leading ladies and their companies globally in the distinguished Women of Legal Tech list of 2018.

This was an incredible honour to be named with 24 other fantastic women within LegalTech, settings things up wonderfully ahead of a busy Summer.

The Mischievous Tour 2018

During the summer, our CEO, Chrissie Lightfoot, took us on a world tour, The Mischievous Tour.

Through the different locations that were visited, we were extremely excited to announce that Chrissie would not only be delivering a keynote at the Nordic Business Forum but also, interviewing one of the leading pioneers and thinkers on the Digital Economy, Andrew McAfee - Co-Founder of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy.

It would turn out of be an unbelievable session and one to remember for a VERY long time.

LISA is 'Cool' in 2018

This was just incredible.

If there was a highlight to sign off 2018 with, featuring in the Artificial Intelligence for Small and Midsize Businesses report by Gartner is up there. It’s a prestigious list to be featured on, demonstrating the hard work that all of us at LISA are doing in bridging the gap between the legal world and business world with LawTech to benefit businesses.

We’re delighted to be helping thousands of users from a wide range of consumers, SMEs / SMBs and corporations across Europe, Scandinavia, Australasia, North and South America, Africa and also users from third world economies. LISA’s NDA App is being used by people and businesses in 80 countries and has saved over £4,000,000 in legal cost to date.

2019 is going to be an equally exciting year as LISA’s suite of Property Apps begin to gather momentum for landlords and tenants, householders and lodgers, bringing cost effective and time efficient leases and agreements into our everyday lives.

BONUS HIGHLIGHT

Image

During the Summer, we were delighted to be mentioned and included in an article by one of the biggest news outlets in business and science - The Economist.

The article, ‘Law firms climb aboard the AI wagon’ mentions LISA as a tool that “helps people draw up non-disclosure agreements, removing the need for expensive human lawyers to be apprised of confidential (and perhaps embarrassing) details."

A magnificent highlight for us to be included within the media.

Flying home for Christmas!

Image

After visiting many countries in Europe and Scandinavia we topped off a wonderful year by returning to Australasia one last time for 3 events in Hong Kong where our CEO keynoted at two and hosted a roundtable at the Law Society. No typhoon was going to thwart our visit this time around …

We wish to thank all the delegates at the two events and the Law Society committee members for your outstanding hospitality and kindnesses both in private and public. It was a real honour to be amongst a budding LegalTech and LawTech community and we look forward to supporting our new friends there in 2019 and beyond.

Happy Holidays from LISA!
